Defend Your Network

Hackers, worms and viruses have become the daily bane of network administrators around the world. Attempts to fight these security threats by using high end processors and a suite of security software have met with only limited success, with administrators having difficulty controlling the number and frequency of hack attacks on their client computers, especially on notebook computers.

Why? Notebooks tend to have lower processing power and system memory than their desktop counterparts, which leads to higher processor loads – and thus slower performance – when they run layers of security software, since security computations are considered the most complex that a processor can perform. This impact on system performance often leads users to remove or deactivate security software on their computers, notebooks, opening a security hole for hackers.



What happens if you don't Defend Your Network?

Attacks on a network through clients using notebooks can lead to catastrophic consequences in the form of stolen mission-critical data that can be either re-sold to competitors for profit by hackers or, be used to access the heart of the network.

Home networks too are also susceptible this threat. Hackers can attack home networks and use them to launch attacks on other computers, and can steal valuable personal data including photos, documents and email.
